Comforter is Dunsscot, and in his Dunsscot persona, he was notorious for taking issue with one's simple errors, rather than with the points raised. Especially considering his preoccupation with typographical errors, my conclusion is that the only qualification Dunsscot/Comforter ever acquired is from secretarial college.
