Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean you should take it personally.... just let it go.

I have spoken to several Muslims online in the last few years. One thing that has remained constant is that they have always taken things VERY personally when anyone did not agree with them 100%. They have always lost their temper and started swearing and spouting obscenities and threats. Last I heard, my name is on some list of people that will be executed during the next Holy War between the West and the Islamic nations. All I did was tell the guy that I didnt believe what he believed.

Is this a cultural thing? I honestly dont get it and would like to understand why.

Here is what you are doing wrong with those two threads... your dumping waaaaaaay too much information on the people at once. This overwhelms people and they just disregard the information.

People also don't give much credence to a post that looks like it was a Cut-n-Paste from some other reference. People want to see your words and thoughts... not a huge chunk of text that was cut-n-pasted from another site.

Try putting out a little piece... just a small taste. If someone bites, great, if not, move on.

Copy & paste! I have only done this twice in my debate career, becasue I was feeling lazy, so I copeid & Paste, them. I think you need to visit these two site to see what I have posted, no sing of Copy & Paste, all my own, home grown agruments.
