So much for JWs reputation of
- "waiting on Jehovah"
- turning their backs on the "gift of childlessness" so they could pioneer when Armageddon is just around the corner.....

From the Bible we must conclude that if conception is accomplished with the sperm and an egg not from husband and wife, it would amount to adultery or fornication.
Huh??
I thought adultery and fornication were sex acts outside of the marriage bonds. There is no sex involved in the procedures described. And how can you conclude this from the Bible? The Bible doesn't say that anywhere.
While there are ethical and religious dilemas in these procedures, accusing someone of sexual infidelity due to having this procedure goes beyond what is common sense.
Now who EVER said the JWs had common sense?
I believe the policy is that if you are pregnant with another man's child you MUST be guilty of adultery. I don't think the turkey baster idea hits them too well.
And actually I think they would consider the turkey baster a disfellowshipping offense - you wouldn't be using your reproductive organs (cause they can't use real names) for their "natural purpose"
And depending on how the egg was fertilized (in vitro) that too could DF the dad for "spilling his seed"
Oh what the heck if a fertilized egg was taken from the mother's body to put in a surrogate that probably would be labeled abortion so DF them too
The mind boggles.
Maybe they don't want anyone in this "religion" publishing company. They keep finding reasons to DF everyone
