Gilead meals. Everyone kicks off work 15 minutes early, goes up to the table heads room, knocks back a few drinks and some crackers and we all make it down the stars somehow without falling for a rushed, slam the food back Bethel meal of steak. Then all stand up to pray and back at work by 1.

That was a Bethelite idea of a party!!

    Gives me indigestion now.

Gilead meals. I got to drink in the Administration offices because my table foot was one of the GB helpers. I remember one time I think it was Jarez looked a little drunk by the time the gilead meal began and he was running it that time.

They knew everyone drank that day and my department wouldnt let anyone use forklifts after lunch.

Housekeepers went through your stuff. Mailroom went through your stuff. Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue got delivered in a large envelope so the housekeepers wouldnt be offended. Me and my roomate once got called home early from work by our home overseer because we had too many decorations out on our desks and dressers and made it tough for the housekeeper to dust apparently.

They announced disfelowshippings from bethel at the morning worship table. Carey Barber once read one and threw the paper down and said "GOOD RIDDANCE". Hell I was there when they announced the UN NGO from the table. I was there on 9/11. They totally played that like it was gonna kickstart the great tribulation.

I was there during all the layoffs starting around 2003 when they started moving the factory to Walkill. Saw a lot of lifelong bethelites get the boot. CBGB was a great place to go drink and listen to music. So was Continental, Water Street Bar down in Dumbo had great deals on Monday nights and I would skip WT study to go get 2 for 1 burgers and beers. Pete's was a great bar on Atlantic near Furman that had Ostrich burgers and buffalo Calamari and introduced me to micro-brewers. Touring the brooklyn brewers so many times they started just giving me beer soon as i showed up.

I'm appalled at all of you making fun of this poor lady's name.

G jobs Morpheus. Also parents sent me $100 a month and I had a car and a close congo so I actually made money off having a car and doing airport runs. Gotta hustle to survive, I owed Bethel money most months because I hated most of their food and cooked on a hotplate and convection oven in my room. Lived in 107 till they remodeled it and then was in a nice room in 124. I actually had one of the huge rooms down around the corner in 107 to myself for almost 6 months before Mark Alba finally made me get a roomate.

I would have been mad moving from 107 to 124. 107 was much nicer. 124 was the ghetto
