Good topic, but there are plenty of real movies that are verboten:
In my time it was:
Emmanuelle.
The Excorcist.
The Devils of Loudun.
Shoes of the fisherman.
Last tango in Paris.
Englishman.

And this from an organization that excoriates the Catholic Church for its "index." It is to larf.
I always use the Catholic & JWs "index" as my "must read/see" list. Anything that could get either these organizations worked up is usually very worthwhile.
The difference between these two cults is paper thin, tissue paper thin.
My two cents.

It cracked me up that an 80s Watchtower or Awake listed Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan as a violent film that JWs should not see. Of course, it wasn't a direct order not to see it, but it was one of those strong suggestions. I mean, come on, that film is tame.

I went with a group of JW's to watch Titanic. Most of them got up and walked out during the love making scene. Of course there was a local needs talk a couple of weeks later about those of us who stayed and enjoyed the entire movie.

G movies - ok
PG movies "If there's nothing wrong with them......why is Parental Guidance suggested?" PO really asked the audience this one.
Anything else? "Satan's ploy."

Stay tuned for my upcoming movie filmed in the Bethel Dining Hall with the Governing body, "My Dinner With Ted; Meetings With Ordinary Men."
Seriously, I would think that "Witnesses Of Jehovah" would be at the top of the list, higher than "Debbie Does Dallas" or "Danny Does Bethel".
