The theocratic ministry school! It was at night and I was tired!!! But the worst were assemblies and conventions. I had an unbelieving mate so I went alone. The lunch break was awful because I felt so alone!!! It is not a loving org. JW's are not friendly! Just go to a convention to find out!

They all sucked... but Sunday's were the longest, most drawn out boring ones of all. We RARELY did the service thing on Sundays (go figure with elder dad and pioneer mom) but we were seriously lucky and almost every Sunday afternoon was dedicated to whatever classic films were playing on channel 56! The only thing better would have been sleeping in, THEN watching the movies.

Got to be the Watchtower - did anyone else just feel a little relieved on the odd occasion that it was only 18 paragraphs instead of the 20 - 21.
    YES..LOL

When I was studing the WT I would always look ahead to see how many paragraphs there were.

I hated the Watchtower kindergarten study. W/all the half baked, phony baloney, plastic banana comments. It was one long drawn out hour

Theocratic Ministry School/Service Meeting I always hated it, I was always honest about hating it and they told me it was because I didn't prepare.

Watchtower Study. I could handle it if I didn't study before hand. But there is no way in hell I could study it and then sit through an hour of them disecting 5-10min of reading material... all of which I had heard before. It use to really bug me when they would take like 10 comments on one paragraph. I would think how many ways can you rephrase 5 or 6 sentences. I would get up go to the restroom play with the babies that were in there, get a drink of water. I would doodle. My husband would say your not setting a good example for the kids.

    jurs,

I also had an unbelieving mate and daughter which made going to meetings and assemblies even more difficult.Top this off with the rudeness and coldness of the Witnesses and it became too much to bear.No one wanted to sit with my son and I so we ate our lunch in the car.One time I was in line to get a newly released book and someone cut right in front of me.All that crap about how loving they are is TOTALLY untrue.I am sorry I ever got involved with such a cold group of people and put my marriage and my family through that stress. No wonder they wanted me to leave those people.I should have listened sooner but sometimes we have to find out things for ourselves.I don't think I will ever fully recover from my experience with JWs.

That's because they wanted to get into the "paradise/new system" before you.
