Hi SP, I'm so glad you decided to post at long last. See? The water ain't deep, and it ain't cold either.
I know there are lots of elders and ms who lurk here who haven't the courage of their convictions. I don't know why you stay in, but you must have your reasons.
I have a very powerful relative who is a little godlette in his neck of the woods who told me over twenty years ago that he had his doubts about a LOT of stuff. He's still in, and still a godlette. He will die a hypocrit in my book. But I know why he does it. The JW community and his position in it is his sole source of positive self confidence, self respect, sense of power, etc., etc. As he gets older and older, I suspect he will get tighter and tighter with the JWs. Sad.
