I love the thread you posted Kenpodragon. I am so glad things worked out for you and your wife! So many times the wt dogma destroys families. I wonder how many mates in the jws are just wishing their spouses would be the first to speak against the wt?

There is nothing better in life that being HAPPILY married. I know of so many people that have spoken out against marriage......makes me feel sad for them. Married life can be great....lots of work sometimes, but the benefits are fantastic! I can't imagine my life w/out my spouse.

My 1st marriage sucked, but I got two terrific kids out of it. Unfortunately their dad is still a jw... so they suffer the kh etc. :(

I am so happy for you. Speaking from the "I am happily married" class, (met in '83, married in '85)there is nothing like marrying your friend.
Having a companion to walk this road called "life" is an added benefit for me. Someone who knows me inside and out, and loves me anyway. And, someone I know inside and out, and whom I love dispite their shortcomings. Someone to count on. Someone to be beside you in the good and bad times. Acceptance and love makes for a happy union.
Personally, I believe that anyone who has known the JW "experience" truly understands what this can mean. Unconditional love is a beautifuly thing. I know you both will treasure it.
