There is a lot of sexual imagery in advertising and art. If the video had been choreographed then the elderly woman may have had a point about the chain saw. However, it is probably not planned, so it is not something to make a deal about. Looks dangerous though, as a saw like that has a lot of sharp blades on the chain.

The only thing disgusting in this is the old lady's heart and mind and that she can't keep her narrow minded viewes to herself.

Elderly Witnesses can hardly recognise the religion they joined 40,50,60 years ago.

Some are just about keeping up with the rise of technology, JW Broadcasting events, dumbed down Bibles and rehashed promises. Howver, many are increasingly disenfranchised and either shutting up whilst they wait to die or papering over the cracks from their cognitive dissonance by convincing themselves that "it's all beyond me but Jehovah's chariot is speeding up".

Esse quam videri - "...It should not surprise anyone that some would make such comments. Look at the member of the GB, Anthony Morris 3rd, going on and on, in public and before large groups of people, about tight pants, colored socks, not visiting Bethel and having to 'explain that to God', etc. A normally sane person (if there is such a thing) would be shaking their head and viewing him with suspicion...."

When I'm in tinfoil-hat mode, I can't help but wonder if the low-profile guys who influence/direct WT policy from behind the scenes (assuming they exist, and I suspect more and more that they do) are subtly but deliberately encouraging guys like Morris and Lett to let their inner fundy all hang out, in order to...

    a) ...deflect attention away from themselves and onto the front men (i.e. misdirection)...

    c) ...increasingly alienating any members with half a brain who might actually start putting things together (like the old sister), and...

    b) ...having plenty of weird-ass scapegoats to shoulder the blame if and when it all goes south.

The Neoconservatives essentially did this with the Religious Right back during the Bush II administration.

Apparently, I have a problem with my a-b-c's...
