  Wow Dawn,

  We must be sisters b/c my family is the same way!!! Every conversation includes a mention of a dub or the world situation, etc. I have told them atleast 100 times that I do not believe that they have the "truth" They even know that I was baptized in a "wordly church" I think it must be some strange form of denial that justifies speaking to me. Either that or their ego is so overblown that they cannot begin to conceive that I really do not believe the WT anymore and have peace in Christ. Sigh........Love, Dj

  p.s. Sorry about your dad. Mine is very ill and only time will tell. I am heartbroken over this and would like to e-mail a question about dealing with the jw influence and his death. Let me know, ok? thanks

  Thanks to all of you for your support and suggestions - it sure helps to vent to people who understand.

  Jessica - I liked your point. Even though my mom can be irritating, at least I still have a relationship with her and can talk to her.

  DJ - feel free to e-mail me - my address is [email protected]. My heart goes out to you - I went through the whole JW funeral thing last year with my dad - even had to do most of the arrangments for it myself with the elders. I'd be more than happy to offer you my suggestions and support.
