  What really pisses me off about this lie is that, at the time, an interested person
  mentioned the Awake article and asked us why the Watchtower was suddenly speaking
  of the UN in such a complimentary way. He wanted to know why this was so since the UN
  was condemned in the Bible, according to Witnesses.

  We didn't have much of an answer then

  Now we know why

  Met, it sure did look like the Awake and WT were being nicey-nice with the UN, especially in the mid-late 90s. It's interesting to hear that it was obvious to an interested person. And yes, we had no clue.
