I hope you did not take my question as a insult, it was more of just one of those "I wonder" questions.

Time is luxury for some...so to invest one's time in non-productive things is a waste of something precious - something we could be spending on people we care about.
If you converted time into cash, would you give hateful people your hard earned cash to spend lavishly on themselves?? I wouldn't...I'd rather give or spend my hard earned cash on those I love.
Walking away from hateful things means you choose to spend your time on something more worthwhile. Your life will be enriched by choices like this...don't ever change.

Hate is allowing a person who has done you wrong to live in your mind rent free. I read this (or a similar sentiment) on a church marquee recently.
Ken,
I understand what you're saying, and it's the same for me. I can't think of one person that I hate. There have been people in my life that have hurt me and caused me a great deal of pain and heartache, but I only feel sorry for them. They can't stand that. They want to get hate back, because it keeps their mission alive.
Hate is a monkey on the back, a heavy weight, and something I try to stay away from. Nothing positive comes from hate.
There have been times when I see the actions of someone, and hope that they will be held accountable and punnished to the full extent of the law. But, I leave it at that. I'm thinking of the terrorists from 911, and those still around, and also the snipers that affected the lives of so many people.
I did'nt feel insulted at all.Thought it was a great question.
