Amazing, I'm curious as to whether BB agrees with you making this post.

Amazing
HI Minimus: Up until now I said very little about the issue, other than posting three posts on Ray Franz behalf. I wanted to post this about a week ago, but got tied up in the hospital. I am not sure what Bill Bowen thinks of me or anything that I have written. He has not communicated with me at all, other than I sometimes get the SilentLambs press releases. My hope was to give Bill some positive points to use from what Ray wrote so that he could see Ray's overall support, and not see things as all negative. I hope that he will get the message. Thanks. - Jim W.

Amazing, I hope you're feeling better. I'll stay on a positive note here about BB, therefore I shall keep quiet. You can be rightfully called, "The Amazing Broker". You have tried to keep the peace. Your ambassadorship will be coming up soon.

Amazing,
Your post contained a lot of positivity and I think we've needed more of that. Maybe I'm wrong in assuming that Bill already understands that Ray isn't against his "Silentlambs" effort. I thought they had made peace in a recent phone call.
Whether I'm right or not, I didn't mean to sound like your post was like a National Enquirer rag playing off the dispute Bill and Ray may have had. But I do think that the more the differences between Bill and Ray are brought up, the more those differences take "center stage", when really it's the suffering of the innocent people at the hands of the WT Society that we need to focus on.

Jim,
I say this for all the naysayers: "no good deed goes unpunished. You've shown that, now go to hell."
Nice work, Jim.

Amazing,
I am very sorry, my comment above did not come out right.
My "National Enquirer" comment was not talking about this Thread, I was talking about the entire "Bill Bowen/Ray Franz" incident.
I think this Thread you posted is indeed quite positive, and Thanks for posting it!

Amazing,
Fair play to you for your efforts, I applaud.
Realistically, BB and RF are so much at opposite ends of the emotional spectrum that I doubt if they would ever have the remotest common ground on which to build a relationship, with or without the child abuse revelations.
Chalk and cheese there, old friend, and never the twain shall meet. (says Eman who never metamorphosied a metaphor in a simile fashion.)

The question is Jim ... were you a "good lawyer", before you posted this?

Amazing
Hi Hawkaw: You asked,
The question is Jim ... were you a "good lawyer", before you posted this?
No, absolutely not. I have acted like a lawyer too long, and it has cost me dearly. Rather, I looked at this politically, journalisticly, and most of all as a human being, with more concern for the victims and the need for fomrer JWs to be as united as possible. As for lawyering, I did not use anything not already pusblished, combined with my personal opinion ... nothing I state here would amount to a hill of beans in a court room anyway. So, in that sense, perhaps good lawyering may have been inadvertantly applied. Who knows ... but, I believe that this must me my final post on the topic. Too many health and personal issues to devote anymore time. Thanks Hawkaw.
