    DanTheMan,

Check out a few Verses by Paul here and tell me what you think:

Romans 13:8: Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the Law.
Romans 13:9: The Commandments, "You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not covet," and any other Commandment, are summed up in this sentence, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
Romans 13:10: Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the Law.

Given that the greek in the book of Revelation and the greek in the Gospel of John is a different type and level, it is very unlikely that the authors were the same John. In fact, it is very unlikely that any of the apostles wrote anything. It was not uncommon in that day to ascribe a writing to one of the apostles in order to gain acceptance for it. I believe it was Polycarp, Bishop of Asia Minor, who received a letter from one of his congregations indicating that they had a gospel written by the Apostle Peter and asking for permission to use it. He replied that anything written by Peter would be o.k. to use. However, on a subsequent visit, he had an opportunity to review the writing and branded it a gnostic heresy.
