    Since I don't have a cell phone, yes.

    Nope! I have had one for a long long time. My first was installed in my car. I have it because It allows my kids to contact me at any time, and when I am home, I can be on the net and people can still call me if they need to . Not to mention having it in case of an emergency, although the drawback here in CA is that any cell phone 911 calls go to CHP, and they have to re-route you to a local agency if you are not on a freeway which causes delays. But all the same., I would not want to live without the technology!

    They are such a time saver.

    I carry my cell phone everywhere I go, but the only time I use it is to communicate with my family when I'm not home. My pet peeve is when I'm at a restaurant or any public place for that matter, and somebody is talking on a cell without a care about who hears their conversation or what their conversation is about! I think that is so rude!

    I hate cellphones. I don't have one, and I am holding out as long as possible to not get one. I like the fact that I am unreachable.

    I know I couldn't. I rely on it for business.

    Me too.

    However, to all the soccer moms driving their SUVs and other dip-sh*ts out there who have their goddam phone glued to their shoulder and ear while they're driving;

    I'm going to ram that frigging thing up your ass first chance I get.

    i could probably live without my cell phone, but i'm not so sure i'd want to. i like knowing that it's there when i need it--whether i use it or not.

    Joanna, you're a woman after my own heart!

    I used to own two cell phones. My provider was Hellular One. One phone was in my name but provided to a close friend so she wouldn't have to pay the sky-high deposit. Hellular One tried to reject a payment-in-person from her because she wasn't me. They cut off service once after a bill (not past-due) had been paid only two hours before and entered in their computer system. I had to threaten to turn them over to a collection agency to get my deposit back after my first year of service. My boss at the time had several phones with them and had been a customer since 1989 but upon his first alleged late payment which was actually their screw-up they shut off all his service. They continued to bill me after I'd cancelled my service.

    Every day you can read complaints about cellular providers on consumer websites. Every day you and I see some jackass in traffic driving like an idiot because they are too busy with their cellphone conversation to pay attention.

    Now telemarketers are calling people on their cellphones.

    Now all you kids out there don't bother answering this question. How long have we had cell phones and what did we do that much worse without them?

    I hate the damn things.

    Mike.

    I use my cell phone in only an emergency, usually. It is the only way my family can contact me if I am at work.
