HOW MANY DOGS DOES IT TAKE TO CHANGE A LIGHT BULB?

that no one has tried to take advantage of the situation.

No dog...yet with the promised elders visits to inactive ones shortly it might be a good time to get a Dobermann........

I have 3 dachshunds. My male got my two females pregnant......so come December.....we'll have about 15 pups in the house, along with my 3, and my son's bringing his dachie (by previous litter) for me to babysit for 2 weeks.
Now, that makes just about 19 dachshunds in my house for about a month. And you people thought I was crazy before!
Oh........and big ol' female Coon cat outside. If I let her in, she claims the dog's blanket as her own.....and her claws establish her kingdom for as long as she wants.
Always have had animals....always will. I think it's a great gift parents can pass onto their kids - the love of animals. Great comrades and snuggle buddies.

Btw, at my work desk, I have a Dachshund calendar hanging up - with quotes from owners over the centuries. This one always touched my heart - for a had to put down a great white German Shepherd last year - and it broke my heart.
Near this spot are deposited the remains of one who possessed Beauty without Vanity, Strenth without Insolence, Courage without Ferocity, and all the Virtues of Man without his Vices.
This praise, which would be unmeaning Flattery, if inscribed over human ashes, is but a just Tribute to the memory of BOTSWAIN, a Dog.

Recently on the "animal planet' channel they had a bit about a little pug couple that were expecting pups and they gave the expectant mama a "baby shower" and half a dozen other small dogs came. They had a cake that you can buy at many bakeries that is made for dogs without the sugar and stuff. It was soooo cute. They showed the birth of the pups and the Daddy pug was so anxious about the whole ordeal.
