    I hate all organized religion.

If there is a God, I dont think he cares what building you go in to worship him or what group you belong to.

Religion is basically men using the bible to control and manipulate.

Well I joind Jesus Christ, so I had to leave the J-Dubs

When one gets saved by Christ he is then united to Christ and HIS covenant people If you are a Christian you will be part of a bible believing congragation. It is part of who you are in Christ. The Lord has given me so so much when he saved me. His promise of salvation and his working in my live are very much a comfort to me.

I go to an old school Prebyterian church in the calvinist puritan tradition. I'm part of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, we have fraternal(brotherhood) relations with other churches of like mind Like the Preformed Presbeterian Church of North America, Presbyterian Church of America, Reformed Church in the United States, and the United Reformed church. We even have some limmited cooperation with other bible believing churches that are less doctrinally sound than we are, like calvinistic baptist churches, reformed epescapalian churches, and the Misurri synod Lutherian Church.

    Christ alone saves,

I think Brummies answer was how I feel.I have been to many churches since leaving the "lie" Mostly to tell the congregations How they can help JWS realize they are in a cult(Also give my testimony)

I mostly attend the Baptist Church -if I feel like it- Disagree with their thing on drinking booze-I dont drink but feel it is up to a persons conscious weather they do or not ( but I hate to see drunks)

I got into another cult after I left The Coonites They are on to works also- so I am very careful now- I read up on all the cults I consider the Unification started by SUN MYUNG a cult - So many out there...... So I have a relationship at home- Since HE is EVERY where -he is here. I do watch Charles Stanley on T.V Sunday at 8.00 -I agree with his sermons.

I must have visited about 300... I get paid for it to... Why waste THE KNOWLEDGE I took in???/

If I can stop one person from going into slavery it is worth it.....

You get paid to visit churches? Let me know how that one works - I usually end up putting something into the plate, not taking it out? Maybe it's different in Canada? Perhaps I should think about moving...

To answer the thread topic, I've been attending a Baptist church, and have become somewhat active in it (the last few weeks I've been teaching a teenage Sunday School class about JW's). I'm still not a member, though. That may change soon, because I want to get into a degree program with Moody Bible Institute, and they require a church membership in order to be admitted.

Besides, at least if I join a Baptist church and then leave it later on, the people there will still be allowed to speak to me.

I decided it was easier to pretend religion does not exist. But I have to remember sometimes. My daughter had her friends all here and they wanted me to read the tarot for them. Sure thing, sounds fun but then the brakes went on....do I really want some mom mad at me cus she suddenly remembers that she considers herself christian? And so wants to yell at me for trying to bring satan in to her daughter's lives? Oh one must be careful.

Of course, JF Rutherford taught that all "religion is a snare and a racket." Back then they taught that JWs weren't a religion and that all religion was false. Around 1950 JWs became a religion but the only true one, the rest are false, according to them, that is.

I wonder what organized religion Adam and Eve belonged to?

Blondie (I belong to a religion with one member, me.)
