    G'day all,

I read the news and I feel like I need some "light relief". How's about you? How's your weekend going?

Mrs Ozzie and I are just sitting down with some very exotic espresso coffee (you what that means, Mulan!) and it's a good time to do our weekend poll. So, are you ready?

    This weekend's poll question is:

What did you consider to be the greatest crime you could commit when you were/are a Dub?

Rank the top twenty answers in order of greatness i.e. the worst crime mark as #1.

If you want to add others, that's fine. Number them from #21 onwards.

    The top twenty answers are:

    1. Murder

    2. Blasphemy (i.e. saying you DON'T think it's Jehovah's organisation)

    3. Getting to the meetings late twice in a week!

    4. Fornication

    5. Adultery

    6. Smoking tobacco

    7. Doing drugs

    8. Falling alseep in the meeting.

    9. Falling asleep on the platform!

    10. Telling the elders "I think Silentlambs is doing a good work."

    11. Posting to an exJW discussion board.

    12. Getting your report in late.

    13. Wearing a mini-skirt.

    14. Wearing a pantsuit (only if you're a sister!!!)

    15. Telling the elders that you want a few months off from field service.

    16. Apostasy (what is that, again?)

    17. Stealing

    18. Lying

    19. Going to university.

    20. Asking the elders, "Since we know The Watchtower's been wrong before, how'd we know they're not wrong now?"

So, start reminiscing and get your poll returns in. Now don't get that report in late, ya hear?

    Cheers, Ozzie

Number 24. Not clapping at the end of a meeting/assembly talk.

Oh yes! I tried that once at a District Convention! If looks could kill!! Even my family were irate! I just couldn't be bothered at the time. I thought there'd been too much clapping already, why, they'd even clapped me!

I guess I was "clapped out"!

    Cheers, Ozzie

    2. Blasphemy and 16. Apostasy

And guess why I was disfellowshipped? Yes. No. 16. Guess I didn't learn.

The big "F" - Fornication. Acknowledging sexuality was the worst crime. After that, disloyalty to the Big Bully Borg and the possibility of "falling away" to eternal doom. Ooooooooohh!!!

well, part of 17 and 18

example: I'm in a store and the cashier rings up the wrong price or doesn't ring it up and just puts it in the bag.this seems to happen almost weekly.

I don't want to tell them ( and I don't do it all the time) they made a mistake, cuz most people don't think they do make mistakes. so I walk out feeling a little guilty that I got something at a really good price, but eventually the thought subsides and I'm back to smiling.
