Probably no one is going to give conclusive evidence, but It would be interesting to hear what everyone thinks?

In a thread yesterday some stated that the first attack on the World Trade center was on the anniversary of the fall of Iraq? That is very interesting?

If it were conclusive that Iraq did have something to do with it, we would hear it on the news right? LOL LOL LOL LOL

I don't believe that Iraq coordinated the 9/11 attacks. I think that effort was the doing of Osama bin Laden and his gang alone. Osama has something like $300 millions at his disposal, and I get the impression that he is much more sly, more cunning, and more intelligent - like a fox - than that bumbling Saddam who seems only to understand force and who has all the subtlety of a hot ice pick in the eye.

    IMHO

The US is a superpower with many enemies. All it's enemies were most probably celebrating on sept. 11th. It is possible that someone did the job for Iraq. If it is not Iraq, then the US has another enemy to deal with. (Terrorism)

While I don't think it was orchastrated by Iraq, I'm sure they knew it was coming...........

I think the administration will try and insinuate that anyone they want to attack is somehow connected with the Sept 11 attack. Cynical ... but probably true.

It would not surprise me if they start claiming that Osama is in Iraq ...

I was listening to a radio station talking about this subject. The "expert" in Middle Eastern Politics was vehemently denying that Saddam would ever work with the Osama Bin Ladins of the world. It seems that many Arab countries have alot to lose as well from persons such as himself - their very sovreignty is just as threatened as our security. They don't want those extremist fundamentalists any more than we do - its one of the reasons why they are always fighting amongst each other.

So no, I don't believe from what I understand of the situation that Saddam would ever allow Osama close enough to work together on this.

I'm getting to the point where I think the U.S. should severely restrict it's borders using the armed forces, root out terrorists in our own land, and let the middle east and Europe deal with the fanatics in it's own regions. Then if, and only if certain nations BEG for our help, we will help them.

    TR - pettygrudger...

    Great answers?

Yet I feel there was some aid from Sadam?

Breeze, I guess there is always the potential for the "enemy of my enemy is my friend", but most experts seriously doubt this theory. Sadam probably got a big laugh out of it, but if you noticed, noone believes any of the terrorists involved have gone in hiding in Iraq - they're for the most part in Pakistan.
