Here's some I did a while ago.

A similar user friendly program is Paint Shop Pro for only about 109$ US. It would do most of what Photo shop does and I do all my photo editing with it
You can download a free trial version at www.jasc.com
I have an older version of Photo Shop and now don't even bother putting it onto my computer
Adboe Photoshop is a professional imaging tool. The above work is part of a huge catalogue that I have archived of my own dabblings. Many of the above have been sold and you will find on the commercial market. The top image is a joke of course and one of the main uses of PS for most people (that being an old friend warped!).
For the user who wants to do quick and easy image manipulation - there are better/cheaper packages available. As has already been mentioned, Paint Shop Pro is a better option for most users. the advanced features of PS you will not use unless you intend to produce output that will go to print. If you do choose to go down the PS route, go to Ebay and pick up a cheap copy of the older versions (version 5 is superb). Don't pay for the latest package, as you will be throwing your money away. Also, buy a book, as the learning curve is initially rather steep and you may grow tired of poor results.
There are lighter packages produced by Adobe and other companies as well, so check the websites out and have a read to see if the lighter versions have the features you need. Kai's Power Goo is cool and there are tools by Arcsoft that will twist and manipulate images for you at a reasonable price.
We have it here at work but it's used by the gurus in the graphics department. I'm in engineering but have a copy on my 'puter. I've putzd around with it but don't really know how to use it. I use CAD software every day but would like something to mark up JPGS I take with my digitial camera here at work. Any simple tips I can keep in mind while I learn this software?
Here is some work I have done in Photoshop for Nike, Adidas, Rhino Records, Nikon and Touchstone Pictures. I have been using it for 7 years. It's more fun than real work. I hope this works, I haven't tried to post photos since the format change.
