The worst job I ever had was at a fried chicken place which only lasted 3 days. I couldn't handle how filthy the owner of the place was. She would drop the chicken on the floor and pick it up and cook it without washing it first. She would cook the chicken and sometimes it would sit under the warmer light for hours and still serve it to the customers. The walk in cooler smelled like rotten meat. I am a very clean person and could not serve anybody that nasty stuff so I quit. She is still in business. YULK!!!

I was the Director of Public Information for Armstrong Atlantic University when I first graduated college. It was the most thankless job I ever had in my life. The secretaries association expected that their tea party should get the same kind of publicity that the visit by the governor of the state of Georgia got and complained to the president when they didn't get it.

The second worst job was as Manager of Technical Documentation at H.O. Systems in Savannah for the three years ending in February 02. I won't go into all the reasons, but thankless springs to mind.

Most of the other jobs in my checkered career have been lots of fun.

Working for WFHM, (Wells Fargo) in collection for 30 day past due, subprime loans. The people on the phone I could handle. I mean some really broke my heart, working to try to pay thier mortagages. I would try to help them with a payment plan or help them get back on thier feet and not lose their house.

It was the Management of the area I worked in that made that job SHITTY. NO matter how well we did ( we met and exceeded our goals) we would get dumped upon. Once we met those goals ( instead of getting a thank you or good job) they would up the goal expectations. ( Gee what a real thank you. (not). The manager I had did not care, she would not help you move up or beyond your job. An if you had systems problems she would not help you. I was glad she ended my "temp" position before perm. I don't think I could of handled her management with grace. I was skating on thin ice as it was with.. patience.

Working as a chimney sweep for an Elder who only paid minium wage, while "Putting Kingdom Interests First" in the "Regular Pioneer Service".

Picture me standing on a steep pitched roof while it's raining and blowing a gale and sweeping a chimney? All for the sake of the "good news" (tm) of course.
