Anyone have a "hand of Jehovah" experience? Something that happened that at the time made you feel it had to be Jehovah intervening? If so, how do you feel about it now?

My family was out pioneering, Dad, Mom, brother and I and it was the day before payday. My mother said we didn't have anything to fix for supper and we didn't have any money. Someone said "Jehovah will provide" and I said something like it's about time. When we got home my aunt had fixed supper for us and it was on the table at our house. I felt a little strange.

I often prayed and asked God for this and that, but I can't say that I saw anything happen. I only thank God for what I have. If I ask for something I will be deceived, so I rather just say thankyou for life, even if it is misserable at times. I knew a few witnesses who would say just the opposite. They would say that they prayed, and received. I know catholics who also prayed and received. Now thats funny, does God bless Catholics and Jehovah Witnesses alike. Then, why have so many religions. Both can't be right unless God blesses all of mankind without any distinction of religion. Some witnesses see God's hand everywhere and will make us beleive that they alone are worthy of his intervention.

I have no idea if this was God protecting my son.He has basicaly no understanding of danger.(I will mention just incase some people donot know,he is austic)My son was playing on the side of the bath tub and he slipped before I could get him down.As he was falling it looked as if something took a hold of him and pulled him away from the spout, and stopping him from banging his head.He would of smacked it hard......I really feel my son has something "loving"watching over him....hes' had a few close calls.I thanks God as much as I can.
I donot remember if I mentioned this story, but this happened in my province here in Nova Scotia. This was last Christmas.A 3 yr old boy and his mother was driving home on christmas day( or EVE) they think the mother fell asleep behind the wheel,no skid marks....well the car landed on a beach at the ocean. The boy was thrown out of the car onto the sand,he was there alone for many hours during the nite. The boy may have been seeing things from the cold, but he said he had Angels with him all nite.I think that is amazing that a 3 yr old survived something like that here around these oceans in December. Its freezing!

I know of a lot of people that feel that Jehovah's hand is in EVERYTHING they do. If they get to leave a magazine at a not-at-home, it was Jehovah's doing. If they went to Burger King instead of Wendy's, Jehovah was behind it. And if ANYTHING bad happened, it was the Devil's fault.

I know some that think it is Jehovah's hand when they have a successful BM.

When I was 10 we moved, and my cat ran away.
I prayed to Jehovah that he not get squashed by a car, and that he come home. Well it turns out he went back to our old house and the people called us and we picked him up.
Jehovah cares!

Yep. My girlfriend and I are still together and doing fairly well because of Jehovah. I don't believe in the Watchtower, but Someone surely answers to that ancient name.

I can think of at least six instances when things have happened to me that should have left me dead. Very dead. And yet I'm still alive and kicking. I can only think that my guardian angel has preserved my life because whatever it is that I'm supposed to accomplish on this planet and in this life I haven't done yet. And I haven't the slightest idea what that is. I guess if I did know what it was, I'd avoid doing it so I could continue hanging out here. For awhile at least.
