I am so sorry for what you have been through. Your bravery will prevent children in the future suffering as you did with the help of the RC. We owe ALL survivors a debt of gratitude for highlighting the hypocracy of the WTBTS, its ancient backward tribal rules must be challenged by all compassionate, rational humans.

Noone with insight can think their responsibility stopps with baptised kids only, thats ludacrous. Much love D-Sister

You’re making false claims that the RC is criminally investigating organizations which include Jehovah’s Witnesses. THEY ARE NOT. This body was formed to recommend by interviewing ALL institutions in Australia to better serve victims such as child sexual abuse in Australia. A solution that was reached in 2013 to ALL civilized countries in this world.

If your ignorance would be correct, then they would have to charge criminally every institution that is for review including all religions in Australia.

Some of you such as mentally diseased people like AZOR are taking away from the seriousness of a problem that it has been throughout the world.

The Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse is investigating how institutions like schools, churches, sports clubs and government organizations have responded to allegations and instances of child sexual abuse.

It is the job of the Royal Commission to uncover where systems have failed to protect children so it can make recommendations on how to improve laws, policies and practices.

The Royal Commission is about creating a safer future for children. It can look at any private, public or non-government organization that is, or was in the past, involved with children. This includes where an organization caring for a child is responsible for the abuse or for not responding appropriately, regardless of where or when the abuse took place.

The Royal Commission’s Report of Case Study no.10 – the Salvation Army’s handling of claims of child sexual abuse 1989 to 2014 was released today. The public hearing was held in March 2014 and examined The Salvation Army’s Eastern Territory’s response to claims of child sexual abuse at children’s homes it operated. The Royal Commission has today published research in which children and young people have identified what institutions should do to help them feel safe and be safe. The research, "Taking Us Seriously: Children and young people talk about safety and institutional responses to their safety concerns" was conducted by the Australian Catholic University in partnership with Griffith University and the Queensland University of Technology. So your ideology would mean ALL religions are CULTS and HARMFUL to children and society. Some of you really need a shrink. So I don't need to start a thread when there is so much misrepresentation within your own here.

You keep posting this on all sorts of threads, but I don't see anyone anywhere making the claim that you claim they are making.

OP stated: The WTBTS is hoping you will consider yourself an invalid complainant, because you are not or were not.....baptised.

    .

Baptised or not, official membership of the club/organization is not the issue. The RC does not care about anyone's affiliation. That is sort of one of the points. Protection from abuse and solid support for any and ALL who are victimized - especially children - should be readily available without regard for corporate policy and governance.

The RC is commissioned to report finding and make recommendations that no one is left feeling they have no voice and no right to the support.
