Did you know that brothers? That the righteous members of the great crowd will be resurrected first along with the Righteous patriachs? Interesting thought. Though I am caused to ask Why is it "obvious" that this will occur? Scriptural backing anyone?
The book of Isaiah chapter 26 is quoted in support of these notions of a literal resurrection:
..."As Isaiah 26:9, 19 assures us: "When there are judgments from you for the earth, righteousness is what the inhabitants of the productive land will certainly learn. Your dead ones will live. A corpse of mine-they will rise up. Awake and cry out joyfully, you residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of mallows, and the earth itself will let even those impotent in death drop in birth.".....
Holy camoley brothers! Did you see that? The resurrected dead will bear children! Says so right there in Isaiah. Surely this is "new light".
..."Hence salvation will not be through ignorance, but will be through knowledge. That is one of the reasons why there has to be a resurrection of the dead, that they may learn"....
And who will TEACH them brothers??

Brothers. You thought you were going to get out of the preaching work!? The world wide work now taking place is just a warm up. Youve got 1000 YEARS of "blessings" to be bestowed upon you as you preach, teach and test the knowledge of the risen dead all thru the millenium.

I can just imagine speed demon jehu flunking his written review on the greek scriptures. Then god would have to kill him, i guess. I wonder what percentage point would make the difference between life and death.

Its so they can join the great cloud of besuited, briefcase carrying Witlesses waiting at the seaside for the dead to wade ashore so they can assist in the Millenial preaching work! Isnt it an exciting prospect??

The scripture you are referring to is not regarding the resurrected being able to bare children. Rather, it is the resurrection itself.
(NIV) Isaiah 26 9 My soul yearns for you in the night;
in the morning my spirit longs for you.
When your judgments come upon the earth,
the people of the world learn righteousness.
19 But your dead will live;
their bodies will rise.
You who dwell in the dust,
wake up and shout for joy.
Your dew is like the dew of the morning;
the earth will give birth to her dead.

But by the same word [of God] the heavens and the earth that are now are stored up for fire and are being reserved to the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly men." Apparently there is no hope of a resurrection for those dying in that executional flood".....
So if you just happened to be alive during the time the flood occured. Tough. Same if youre alive when Armaggedon comes. Other than that, if you were Pope Alexander the 6th and slept with your daughter and poisoned youre opponents, you get a second chance. Good one God.

Looks like the Pharisees miss out too!! Sheesh. Peculiar rules to this matter of who gets a resurrection or not! Heres why Adam and Eve dont get resurrected:

I guess murderers miss out too. But thieves is okay maybe?

hmmm. I often wondered about that. The scriptures that might back this I think would be found in the book of revelations, somewhere around the 15th to the 19th chapters. Can't recall or pinpoint it better then that right now.
If we take the scriptures literally then those who were beheaded for not forsaking Christ will be the first to be resurrected and not sure if that includes being resurrected as a king or just resurrected first AFTER the kings are resurrected.
I'd have to read it again. Its not an easy read when the house is full of kids. LOL
Btw, I don't recall any definite explanation from the WT about Adam and Eve in a one way or the other but my take on the reason they don't get a resurrection (from scripture) was due to their unwillingness to repent. They placed the blame on everything from God to a snake and would not accept responsibility for their own actions.
And as for as murderers go, I think the same is supposed to apply. I don't know if I'd go so far as to expect Jeffery Dalmer to be included but the story goes it will be done according to each individuals heart. Rather then so much as what they did in the first life.
Then there are those who get resurrected to be put to death again. Thrown into the lake of fire with Lucifer. Gee, I wouldnt want to be on that list. I think that happens (their resurection), after the end of the thousand year reign and when Satan is destroyed. Not sure if its after Satan is destroyed or just prior so they can meet him firstThat might be waiting for Hitler.

Didn't the Society say that no-one will be able to have children after Armageddon? I wasn't paying too much attention when I read the Androgyny thread
What is very amusing is that if they actually apply this to let's say a conservative estimate of, oh, 150 billion people resurrected, and half of them have children, Earth is going to become DAMN crowded!

Actually, SYN, the WTS has said that no one "resurrected" to life on earth in the new system will be able to have children. Supposedly, the great crowd survivors will be able to have children for awhile. The WTS also teaches that eventually God will stop up the reproductive powers of everyone on earth so the earth is not overpopulated citing how God stopped the reproductive powers of Michal (David's first wife), opened up the wombs of Hannah and Sarah.

I imagine after about 200 years of monogamous shagging of the same woman ANYONE would lose interest in having further sex. Besides. You will need your sleep to keep your mind sharp for convincing Charles Darwin of the truth of Creationism and convincing Errol Flynn of the certain evils of Adultery.
