Yes I do, and I did as a witness. I play the powerball. Usually just a buck a game which is twice a week. I always felt that it was ok as I know I'd share my winnings regardless.
And I am a very good poker player. I will take away all your money if you are foolish enough to sit down with me.
It's cool for other people if they have fun doing, but I'll never gamble in any form. Well maybe a small friendly wager on something with some friends. But for me, the odds on consumer gambling are much to high or low. Anyway, it's a very small chance that you'll win. It's like a bunch of people get together to make a couple of other fools they don't know rich. If you like playing that game, cool. I'll never play it. But on the good side, I now have no reservation to going into a casino. If there's a show there I like, I will go and I'll eat the food there. That was a big no-no as a JW. You wouldn't won't to place yourself so close to the temptation to sin. If I have a friend who wants to throw away their money there, I'll go and hang out with him or her while they throw their money away there. I just prefer to throw my money away on other fun stuff like bike gear or video games.
I used to go to the Casinos when I lived in Lake Tahoe, but that was before becomeing a JW. Whle a JW, I still would occassionally play Lotto and even entered sweepstakes.

Lotto once in a while. Usually on my birthday.

i like the scratch-offs, powerball, casinos and pull tabs once in awhile. not all the time, but occassionally it's a good time.
Of course I play the Lotto. I play bingo too. Thats one of the sacraments of the church.
