I used a hypnotherapist when I was seeing a psychologist a few years back. It was a very positive experience. I can tell you that I remembered everything and I was aware of what he was saying and my surroundings. It was very helpful for me to overcome some difficulties I had in therapy at that time. I highly recommend it.

I have been hypnotized. The therapist said that there are only two reasons a person cannot be hypnotized. One is if the person really does not want to be and does not work with the therapist. The other is if a person has a real low IQ. Retarded people cannot be hypnotized. So which category do those of you who say you cannot be put under fall into?

I was hypnotized about 2 years ago. It was for a charity, and all in fun. APPARENTLY, I stood up and sang "The Oscar Mayer Wiener Song", and skipped around the place being Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. Vaguely remember the skipping part. Very embarrassing moment of my life.
