I was verbally assulated in the KH one sunday. Seems the person was shooting their mouth off about me to another group. I heard them and made a fairly nasty reply back.. They had to escort the person out of the hall, they were so mad.

A few years ago, a Bethelite walked up to me before the TMS, grabbed me by the lapels and slap me. Two other Bethelites witnessed this but said nothing. To this day I have no idea why he did this or why I didn't beat him silly. I guess it must have been Holy Spirit. Last year one challenged me to fight. I liked him so I didn't take him up on it.

I was hit by my wife because she was messed up on xanax and drunk. I was a good husband and just took it with stride while her parents watched and said nothing. Well that was the first time it happened. She was really a violent and controlling person. By the way, shes still in good standing and I'm out. Figure that one out. Maybe she was putting out for the elders or something. I dunno. Anyway, I'm moving on now and maybe later I'll find a "normal" ....ok,a little crazy is ok too....person to marry and try this one more time.

Good for your Dad! I really appreciate men that stick up for those weaker than themselves. Although I don't condone violence, sometimes it just happens to be in defense of an innocent who has no other way to defend themselves. I love chivalry. He may have been a Witness, but first and foremost he was a man.

Twice,

The first time I provoked this other Bethelite and he took a swing at me. I ducked and he missed.

The other time a Bethel elder got in my face and starting shoving me. I just walked away.

wha happened?

Closest for me was during a committe meeting. It was quite a scene. There were alot of people who got rounded up from several congs, (including myself), and the brothers were trying to get the stories together. While I was talking, an MS who was caught lying was getting angry because my testimony matched the brothers info on him. Realizing that he was in trouble he decided to vent his anger at me by threatening me that if I ever get df'd, he's coming after to me. I asked, "Are you threatening me? If so..." and right then an elder interrupted. I was going to say if so then why not now girly man? He was so shaking mad that I knew that would have provoked him. He was removed from that threat alone.

Yes, verbally at the KH. I told the PO to keep her away from me. He saw it and asked about it.

She apologized later and said she knew she had problems, but the damage was done.
