We love fruitcake.................the kids all hated it. More for us!! Brandy on ours. Rum makes it too sweet. The fruit does that enough.

I don't like unless it is top quality. Last year, we bought one on the internet from a Catholic monastary in Kentucky. They flavor theirs with bourbon. Their bourbon flavored fudge is outstanding.
