The best piece of advice a witness friend gave me when I left was
"don't hurry back". What this witness meant was, like, "take some time to regroup, before rushing right back".
And I would add, "to exhale".

Still waiting for that kick in the pants? Naw, we've all been there and remember deciding not to hear dissenting thought and commiting to stay in line at all costs. We don't consider it a character flaw.
There are a lot of people here that agree that there is no place to go. They have decided that Christ had no intention of setting up rigid organizations to interceded between man and himself.
Just keep your mind open, and we'll be happy to share opinions on any subject.
