  Theyll be back. Buggers didnt give me the Watchtower magazine though, just the stupid "Awake".

  Wonder why theyd do that? Any ideas?

  I criticized the Old Testament God as a savage God at which point He stated that the Nations God hated back in the OT practised sacrifice of Children. At which point I hit him with Jepthahs daughter being SACRIFICED to Jehovah. We broke out Numerous Bible versions to examine the point. He conceeded that there was a very specific meaning to the term "Mourning". As "the women Mourned for Jepthahs daughter" .

  Its fun isnt it.

  Back in my day we gave the Awake mag if we didn't think the householder would be interested in biblical topics. Generally men preferred the A! mag to the WT, if given the choice.

  Maybe the JWs didn't think the WT would interest you?

  Wish I was a fly on the wall for their next visit.

  Refiner's Fire, I need to ask, what is your porch like? I have a great porch for visitors, so studying on my porch would be no problem if the weather permits. I've got a bench, a chair, a rocking chair, and a porch swing, and I LOVE my porch!

  So, did you make them stand for 2 hours? Or do you have a place to sit?

  Herself. No porch. Just a cold, windswept stone path. One must suffer to attain salvation. Id like to invite them in, but they would see my Watchtower volumes and (God forbid) my Russell books and Ray Franz apostate books. So out side they must remain,

  I remember years ago I used to go on a study with Brian (one of our congs pioneeers) and the entire book was studied outside stood on the front step. Strange study that one.That house used to have a very bad smell about it. Like rotten meat.

  Yeah, but Pris, Im paranoid, Im thinking maybe they arent giving me the watchtower because they smell Im an apostate and dont want me posting the study articles here. (which i would do by the way) (( Bastardos robbing me of my amusement))

  Before things really start heating up, you have to get them inside your house. Just move some books, or take some "non-apostate" books and place them on the bookshelf in front of the apostate ones, so the apostate books are hidden by the exposed front cover of the non-offensive book. That will save you from having to move your library.

  I want them inside your place just because they will be more comfortable and their defences will be down and also so that their escape, if/when they realize what is happening, will be that much more difficult/comedic! (ain't I a son-of-a-gun?). Also, remember these people are victims! Treat them like garbage, their fears are reinforced. Treat them warmly, and they don't know what to do when despite your pleasantness you aren't swallowing their garbage unquestioningly.

  Im sure theyd be right into that. They come into my study and theres all these computer generated "talking heads" questioning them. They would come up with a new interpretation of the "7 headed beast" of Revelation after that experience.!!

  I used to have but the images BECK sent me were SO HOT it blew up.

  You won't know unless you ask for the WT. Show some interest in the cover, ask "isn't there normally another magazine with this [the A!] ?"

  Quote is right, if you have them physically sitting inside, it will make it harder for them to make a quick exit. Who knows, maybe they might get curious and start asking you questions?

  This should be fun.

  I've had ideas about what it would be like to live somewhere else and having a study with Dubs. So many ways to go... so many games to play. In the end, I'd want to help them.

  Let us know how it goes.
