I finished all my shopping on Thursday night and have started the wrapping. Most of my gifts out have to be mailed across the country so I need it done early.

All my shopping has been done for about a month now.....oh, wait, there have been a few "little" things here and there, but the majority has been done. I too like to work within a "budget" and to do that means shopping pretty much all year long. Watching out for sales and bargains. I have been doing some shopping online too. Right now Bestbuy.com has FREE shipping and have even been checking out some stuff on overstock.com (they also have free shipping). I went to the mall about a month ago.......the mall is NO place for this country girl! YIKES! I can't even imagine shopping now!
I started gift wrapping already. Put on some Christmas songs, grab the "supplies" and away I go!
Today I started cleaning out the kids bedrooms while they are gone (at my ex's). Armed w/huge lawn bags this mom was throwing broken toys, unused toys (donated) and organizing what I could without any objections from kids who want to throw nothing away! Time to make room for the new stuff coming in a month. This was no small feat I tell you.......my kids rooms are disasters! It dawned on me today........I gave birth to pigs! LOL

mine has been done for quite some time, since I'm the gatherer I still have to be in the stores getting food and whatnots.
My hubby and our 15 year old did get up at 5 A.M. to get in on the rush for the early sales. One store gave away snowglobes,--line was to long so they went on their merry way in search of other items. the other stores line was tooooooooo looooooong and they weren;t going to stand in that one either. The final place they went to the store was giving out free 12 inch teddy bears to the first 1,000 people, when they pulled up, the parking lot was like a saturday afternoon. AND WHO DID THEY SEE IN LINE? STANDING IN ABOUT THE 453RD PERSON WAS MOTHER DUB AND HER 2 LITTLE DUBBETS. LOL
they had fun but probably won't do it again next year.

Well,
I have bought a few gifts for my friends and one for my secret santa gift recipient friend.
Other than that I havent done much shopping. Its so hard when the kids are with you all the time. Im planning on spending the weekend in Green Bay with Xenawarior and we are going to hit the malls and do some serious shopping before we watch the Packer game on Sunday. Who am I kidding, we will be way to busy gabbing and laughing to get much shopping done, but I am looking forward to it.

I have almost all of my shopping done. I only buy for my grandkids, and my secret
Santa gal. I have a couple others I decided to do too (one goes down under )I used ebay, Kaybee.com, and presentpicker.com. I don't have to go to the mall, and the prices are better, no sales tax, and they come to me. Too easy.
I am quite sure I will end up the mall a time or two before Christmas.

No shopping done yet at all. Well, just for my secret Santa thingy. She got it already. Today I decided to go to the Vermont Country Store to check out the Maple Syrup situation... God in Heaven ! No more parking space, the store full with hundreds of tourists, awful. I left, no standing space in the store at all ! You must know that the Country Store is just a small store, an old house and a barn, and is situated on a road that goes to the ski stations. The cars are from Connecticut, New York and who knows where. Christmas shopping is always a last day thing in our house.
