It's not so much what Deuteronomy 17:6; 19:15 or 22:25 -27 says but what's found in the Greek Scriptures/NT at 2 Corinthians 13:1 and Matthew 18:16 etc.
A question to ask about the two witness rule for reporters or the RC

The problem with useing matt 18 as a guidline is because it results in gaining your brother a victim is not trying to gain a perfert this pricinple refers to an offense you have with a brother and even if the brothet did not repent jesus said let him be to you as man of nations and how did Jesus view man of nations he never shunned them -

The problem is if you ate a Pharisee you like turning priciples into laws so that way you maintain control over the ignorant. -

Well said.
(although I think you meant "are" and not "ate" : - )There is also the counsel not to quickly believe allegations against an elder but to depend on the testimony of two or three people.
The JW religion uses a lot of Old Testament accounts applying them as guides. They seem to rely on OT accounts even more so than the Gospels or any NT accounts.
It's hard to see them as Christians instead of OT religionists.
