The SciFi (science fiction) channel here in the USA is running Steven Spielberg's mini-maxi-series (2 hours per night for 10 nights!) "TAKEN."
I watched the first episode last night - it was much better than I expected it to be - it's got hooks!
Often I find myself disappointed with SciFi channel series, but not this time.

I was curious about that. I don't get the sci-fi channel :( so I can't watch it. But many times they will show up on DVD or video for rental. Maybe it will show up next year. sigh

I sort of watched it.Why did'nt they have a guard next to little "Yoda's" door or a lock on it for that matter??

Yes, I watched it. The SciFi channel is my equivalent to a soap channel the ladies enjoy. Hi. I also have been watching the assembly of the space station all week on the NASA channel which I can get on my 10 foot dish. Guess I need to break these bad habits soon.

I didn't give it the full concentration that I should have. I was trying to read some of the threads simultaneously. But what I did see I enjoyed. Goodness. Is that the type of aliens people claim to see? Weird looking beings!
The only "grays" I've ever seen have been in the movies, but these were good representations of what some people claim to have met.
I am taping it first then watching it to miss the commercials. I have been waiting over a year for this show. The first 5 segments will be reshown on Saturday in consecutive order starting at 10 am CST until 8 pm. The next 5 segments will be next week.
It is being shown at 8-10, 10-12, 12-2, CST every night M-F.

Rats! I was going to tape it last night and completely forgot until just now. Well I'll roll tape tonight then.
Awwwwwwwwe, I was gonna watch it too.....somehow I just started reading a dumb ol' novel instead.
Scott Turow's "Reversable Error" - quite good.
But if "Taken" is like most mini series - the first 20 minutes of tonight (next segment?) will be a rehash of the previous.

Na, I don't get the Sci-Fi channel.......here I was all eager last night at 9:00 o'clock and I turn on the Space Channel......and then realize that's not the same as the Sci-Fi channel............
