Most of us are imperfect.... and so even though controled by the WTBS to a great degree....none of us could have been perfect at even being brain washed You following me so far?

So my question to everyone is....***drum roll please*** DDRrrrrrrrrrrr

WHAT DID YOU NOT GIVE UP WHILE ONE OF JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES??

Ok.....I'll start.......

I NEVER GAVE UP.....

Mettalica......Ride The Lighting !!! Oh Yeah!!!

Action flicks.....Jackie Chan he's my man!!

And "The Matrix" rocks!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE to be rowdy and silly.......

and so there is this game me and my kids and other teens and kids from the hall would play while riding around........we'd honk and wave at everyone we passed and see who got the most people to wave back....I WON alot!

Another time me and a bunch of kids went on vacation to wisconsin....(yeah I know ...some vacation spot) any way we went around pretending to be interviewers and would ask people if they liked cheese and why they liked cheese and which cheese was thier favorite and to top it off.....did they worship the Greeat Cheese God "Gooda"...LOL I remeber when we came back to our own state and some of the kids told thier parents what we did....lol it was too much....one mom said...well at least you guys were out of state this time!!!! I so cracked up!! (To who ever doesn't get the whole cheese thing...Wisconsin is America's DAIRY state...cheese is serious business there)

Another time when m y youngest was still in diappers.....we made HATS out of the diappers and were driving around waving at people!! The looks we got!!! Oh man!!! One Sis did look at me when she found out and then turned to her child...."You know what I told you when you go out with them...what if some you saw you and then later when you were preaching they'd say....weren't you that child with the diapper on you head??" LOL Then she got this look on her face and just cracked up!! Cause she realized what she said. Her mom looked at me smiled and just said..."You!!" with this half smile and so wanting to laugh some more........

yeah I could never give up silly......thats just me......

I have alot of other stuff like that I did ...but I'll leave you all to tell yours.......

on a more MATURE note.....as a mother I always encouraged my children to go fro their dreams!! Because without DREAMS one can't live!

i never gave up hard rock, Queen, Meat Loaf, (i'm somewhat older than u) and SNL. Or occult movies, we proudly announce we had seen ghost busters. My hubby and i never gave up our right to decide what we wanted to do in the bedroom, we always celebrated new years eve, i wore short skirts an heathern makeup.I danced as i pleased. i drank as much as i pleased(lots of bros do this) but of course none of the alochol ever produced smelly farts , as i have a very hygenic gasto intestinal system.

Led Zeppelin and any other "bad rock band" (my mom made me throw away chili peppers when she found that CD, good thing she didn't find the Bad Religion I had just bought!), Rated R Movies, "satanic" video games.

I never gave up my freedom as a woman to think for myself, the occasional curse word, going on dates alone with no chaperone, R rated movies, Rap Music & multiple ear piercings.

Never gave up drinking, football, celebrating New Year's Eve, seeing R-rated movies, and/or doing whatever I wanted in my bedroom with my very married wife.

I never gave up my precious music either, no way , even the Prince filthy songs, just loved them too much. I never gave up my lewd dancing , just didnt go to clubs, hehhe.

I never gave up my home watched R rated movies on video , or my HBO.

I never gave up my intense desire to get away with as much as I possibly could and still stay in the brothers good graces.

I never gave up my million excuse of why I missed meetings, field service, KM talks, or why my magazine wasnt underlined.

I never gave up gossiping in the ladies bathroom, laughing, drawing on my magazines, pinch fights with my oldest son to see who could not squeal, organizing my bills for the week durning the written review.

I've always loved dance music and so I always went clubbing in my teens and twenties. Most Witnesses would be horrified at this, so I didn't mention it amongst my JW friends. I don't think it was ever banned outright, but it was never really approved of. It is now though, the outline for last years Circuit Assembly laid it out very clearly - Witness kids aren't even allowed to go to restaurants with small dance floors now.
