I won Kiss concert tickets from a radio station ( don't even like them)
A friend of mine won a car in high school.

I won AeroSmith concert tickets once, that was cool.
I've won various door prizes at events I attended in my community. Hey, there's a new idea to get meeting attendance up, give out door prizes!! Like, Kingdom Melodies CD's, old irrelevent WatchTower magazines (they can clasify them as classic reading material), and ear plugs.
RubyTuesday, you would be a great prize I would think.

My mother won a Honda Civic, and gave it to me. That was my first new car. I liked that car so much that I bought the company.
When I was 8 years old I won at a bingo game for kids. My prize was a toy holster and gun set. I was so excited! Everyone thought that I should give it to my brother, since he was a boy, and a gun is a boy's toy! I said, "NO!" I loved that gun and holster set. I won it, and there was no way I was going to give it to my creepy brother!

I won the heart of my wife. No small accomplishment! She was engaged to a guy at the time who now is an engineer for NASA.

TresHappy...how did you like the concert...I saw Neil in Phoenix AZ....I thought it was going to be boring...WRONG...that guy had talent and energy....he was awesome on that piano!!
Neil has always been a favorite of mine. I won tickets because I knew the songs he had written for the Monkees (I'm a Believer and some others I can't recall at the moment). I have seen him several times, most recently 1996. He is a crowd pleaser and a wonderful performer. The women love him because of his hairy chest (me included).
I also won tickets to see Paul McCartney a few months ago and got to see him in concert. A radio station drew my name...I was floored. I got to go see another Beatle!
