I was reading through this thread thinking, I NEVER read any recipe with over 5 ingredients....my eyes automatically glaze over with my braining repeating "too many, too many, too many."
Your recipe reads delightful. I think I could do this one. Thanks!
Btw, my addition to this thread?
Cracker Barrel
- no one does pumpkin pie with crumble topping like them. Well worth the visit - and no clean up.
Scully and Waiting, You really need to taste these truffles. They taste as good as they look. After you coat and chill them, place each one in a petit four cup. They ship well and make great gifts. Your friends and family will be impressed thinking you knocked yourself out. I put the saucepan in the fridge to chill and use one of those mellonball thingies to scoop them out. Warning: make two batches. They're not ugly sweet like fudge and chocolate lovers will consume mass quantities.
People also may be Jewish and therefore it is proper to call it Holiday. There are several traditional Hannakah foods that are wonderful suchas Kuggel, and Lattkas. IMHO I think scully did the right thing by calling it Holiday as many people have different beliefs and celebrate different Holidays this time of year. There is also Kwanza which has several different dishes that would be made.
