I've been catching up on the videos and news articles. The elders, lawyers, branch members, hired reports are all getting slammed! That dude has a response and point to bring up on everything! Almost every person on the JW side has been squirming in their seats!

Their answers aren't even good! They're that of a child. Did they not go over ahead of time to come up with good answers?

I thought it'd be bad but this is a complete slaughter! Every minute of the video I watch the JW look worse and worse. Did they not prepare for this event?

These dudes kick butt and leave no stone unturned! Better yet, the JW logic and loop hole attempts are being brought out right away! They're seeing all the BS that the average JW takes years, if ever to see!

You know, I really dont think they did.

I think the "Ivory Tower" phenomenon seems to be in full effect. Apparently the rank and file need to rehearse how to pitch JW.ORg at every Service Meeting but the leadership are very sure of their righteousness and perhaps even believed that biblical line about "what to say will be given to you" by the Holy Spirit.

Meanwhile back in the trenches...how often were we told the Holy Spirit cant recall to your mind what wasnt put in your mind by YOU?

    I agree with the OP.

I also like how the WT is getting crushed by the commission.

Mr Stewart starts out with some background info, then moves on to WT literature, the noose tightening as he links this up with the relevant case study. Justice McClellan and Mr Stewart are calm and polite throughout, as they hang the WT by their own words and the victims' evidence.

    It's compulsory viewing.

believed that biblical line about "what to say will be given to you" by the Holy Spirit.

So far, this verse has not applied for them. If anything, the other way around. If I believed in God and thought he got involved, I'd have to say he's bringing to light about the JW and showing them to be false.

How can a JW watch these videos and think Holy Spirit is helping them out in anyway, let alone helping them "speak". If anything, holy spirit is making them speak in "tongues". Unfortunately, not one the commission nor anyone else understands the language.

I never understood that line of reasoning. Of course if you put it in your mind, you'll be able to recall it. That's not holy spirit, that's a thing called "studying". People do it in college, all the time, although JW's wouldn't know that.

    That's better!

All of you who have commented here are on track. This was a public forum called the Royal Commission. It was designed to bring to light..............to all! The issues at hand.

This is how it happens and allows for those who wish to be better informed to watch those proceedings in all their transparent glory.

This happens to all those who are called upon by the commission. After that......the real work begins....Please trust me on this.

Oh, and thank you so much to those who sent messages......because those messages were for "all" who were hurt....this is how I saw it. Just good will toward those disdained by WTBTS

Can you expand on what you mean by this? Thanks!

Really crazy that none of them seemed to have read the witness statements.

Why? It's stupid on their part to not read up on the relevant information before testifying. It shows disrespect for the proceedings and also handicaps themselves.

    Dumb, dumb and dumber.

I'm going to assume they did. It was most likely told to them not to, or to come across as not knowing. They came out looking really dumb and uneducated though.

Based on how little they knew and how "dumb" they came off as, I'd be terrified to have them looking after my "spiritual life".

These are the same guys that can DF someone, make a judgement in a JC meeting, handle child abuse, look after the congregation and 99% of their answers were "I don't know" or "I wasn't aware"! That's scary the amount of power these clueless elders have.
