Jerseys full of snow and I'm staying home!~!!!!!!!
Ditto in my part of Jersey, especially since this is a coastal storm and most of the area I work in is closer to the coast than where I live. So if I were to venture out, I'd be heading into even snowier areas, and it's bad enough here. Besides that, I've been sick as a dog the last couple of days. All things considered, it looks like a good day to work from my home office...
enjoy that snow, looks like you guys are getting alot of it. if you need any shovels, let me know I'll send some. We do get snow here, but what we had has melted, and it will come again. I've still got to get my carrots out of the ground.
I LOVE SNOW!! We've got about 7 inches and it hasn't stopped yet here in Pennsylvania. I was planning on making a big pot of stew or chili and playing some c.d.'s while taking in the beauty of the falling snow...........BUT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>My kids have off from school, so instead I've been bundling and unbundling children who are hungry one minute and have to pee the next minute (after I bundle them, of course)..........ahhh motherhood..............
I definately agree El Kabong.......I've always thought that snowflall was God's way of saying slow down and look at the beauty, listen to the stillness. I love it!
Snowing here too....we are looking to get about 8 in. It does have a way of quieting everything down. I like the dampening effect on the sound of traffic. On the minus side.....it's a friggin' inconvenience!
In parts of NC there was an ice storm and hundreds of thousands of people are without power. I was lucky, we had snow and sleet. I had to fix a pipe on my little rent house next door though. I hate plumbing.

Hi Orbiting: It is so beautiful outside. I don't remember the last time I've seen such a picture perfect snowstorm.
It's even more beautiful that I don't have to travel on Rt. 695 today or Rt 495, or Rt 95. Heck, I'm just glad I don't have to go out today at all. Not even for TP, Bread, or Milk.
I'm pretty sure we got over a foot here in central Jersey, right near Fort Dix. It's bad outside, but beautiful.
It just took a folding chair outside, with a cup of tea in hand, and sat there for about 40 minutes......the snow is draped on the trees....beautiful.

I've been in Florida for 15 years and have yet to see snow here. Last time we had a snow storm was in the 1970s in La. when we had two inches. If anyone doesn't want their snow, I'll take a little of it--but now fellows don't everyone overwhelm me all at once.
