Tomorrow is our 29th anniversary!
So, tonight calls for a big celebration. We're off to the "Flute de Paris" for an evening of wine and good food in a top restaurant in WSM. Actually it's one of WSM's few restaurants that serves remotely edible food, but that's England for you.
So much has happened in the last year. We have combatted "Empty nest syndrome" with the departure of all of our 3 sons, 1 to Oz, 1 to his own place nearby, 1 to university and are starting to enjoy some of the pluses of being just the 2 of us.
It never occured to me when I married Christina that we would have children at all, I had been married before and had a son and a daughter allready, so I assumed that I had done my bit. However Her Ladyship had other ideas and trotted out 3 in quick succession. I only had to look at her and BOING! she was pregnant!
This is a pic from our first year together, I'm 27, she's 20:
..And this is a recent pic of us both enjoying an evening in the pub:
Now I have to tell you that in the 29 intervening years, I am getting a sort of inkling that she's wearing a tad better than me!
Hope you liked the pics,
Englishman.
