It seems nowadays everyone is now talking about getting to Mars and making a base. I would have thought the logical option would be go to the moon first, it is a lot closer, and then from the moon onwards to Mars.

Keeping the thread on topic. If true the " moon landing" is one of the most significant achievements in the history of mankind. Am I right in thinking NASA lost the original raw footage?

The nub of the mattter isn't about the validity of the moon landing. It is about credulity.
As JWs we swallowed all the bilge from the greater bilge pump the WBT$. We were fooled good and proper. Now, we won't get fooled again (does a windmill on the guitar).
We could be in the matrix or stuck in a wardrobe asleep.
When it comes down to it we believe what we believe because of our confirmation bias.
