So Sir 82 " Goodwins Law!

Sir 82 " It was inevitable"

The Rebel:- Goodwins law is a new concept to me " Sir 82", but is this understanding correct?

Does " Goodwins law" mean that the longer a thread goes on the more likelihood " Hitler" or the word "Nazi "will be bought in to the discussion?

If so that makes sence to me. Hitler had his beginning with small words, and those small words became speeches. And as people listernd to those small words, which became speeches we got the concentration camps.

So would I be correct to assume " Goodwins Law" is a protection, and a reminder that we will always have little internet bullies?

Personally I see how an Internet bully is like a " Nazi ".

So thank you for that " sir 82" I can now see how bullies need support to became secure in their environment . I can imagine when they have that confidence they jump to life and their words become a downpour of bombs on the victim.

Maybe this way the Internet bullies " ego" is fed for a short while?

Anyway in my opinion I always imagined the bully as very insecure. Or maybe he sees HIMSELF with superior intelligence, and ingenious perfection. In either case I believe he Has a longing to be acknowledged by his "followers "and so repeats the bullying on a daily basis....hence " Goodwins Law"

The strength to protect my friends

The power to destroy my enemies

and that this thread will die

    Makes sence Morpheus.

Who cares if man landed on the moon, all I want is a bit of inner space when I come home from work, so I can park my car.

Holy cow... just popped in to say hello and arrived here right at the end of this particularly stinky thread.

Now this topic is littered with links to and had much evidence posted that help demonstrates that 'we' went to the moon... I am wondering if anyone has changed their mind on the subject?

    MASH,

Other than The Rebel proving himself consistently to be a lazy brained, narcissistic, whiney ass, attention whore, you would learn more about this topic by reading the information contained on the following 3 links than by reading the content of this OP.

Woah there! I am always ready to follow the evidence. Just show me some please?

You say you won't get fooled again. Hmmmm

Just like me you were once fooled by a whopper of a conspiracy theory. Now you are flirting with another one.

It would be easier by orders of magnitude to go the moon than to pull off a hoax.

    Follow the evidence.

    DJS:

While I don't find the content of those links surprising in the least, I do find the statistics somewhat disconcerting.

I'm not sure if someone has said this but I do know astronauts left reflectors on the surface of the moon that prove the reality of the trip. But when those reflectors were put there is the question. But yeah, we've been to the moon just not sure when it actually happened. It didn't happen during the 60s though.

Research on motivated reasoningsuggests that people tend to believe what they want to believe. Muslims in particular have reason not to want to believe that mass murder on 9/11 was carried out by co-religionists in the name of their faith. This may lead some to embrace a defensive narrative where they are victims of a larger conspiracy by the U.S. or Israel to launch a self-serving war on Islam

People believe what they want to believe

Interesting links DJS. I think this comment says it all, people believe what they want to believe.

You could provide a mountain of proof from climate scientists that global climate change is real, caused by man and a problem, but people will believe Rush Limbaugh, because Rush makes them feel smart that they haven't been taken by the crazy scientists and they would rather not have to give up their 15mpg Ford F-350 That they don't even use to haul anything.

It explains why a narcissistic airbag like Trump leads in the polls right now. He tells people like this what they want to hear. He was hopelessly lost in the debate as he had no knowledge of foreign policy, but it doesn't matter to his fans.

The same thing with the moon landings, 9/11 conspiracy theories, etc. People believe what they want to believe.

So would I be correct to assume " Goodwins Law" is a protection, and a reminder that we will always have little internet bullies?

As usual, you get it wrong due to lack of basic research.

Personally I see how an Internet bully is like a " Nazi ".

Your delicate snowflake feelings are not equivalent to the murder of 11 million people who, BTW, were murdered just for being who they were, not for lack of doing basic research.

Maybe this way the Internet bullies " ego" is fed for a short while?

I don't know. You were the only person here who has flung insults with the expressed intention (which you failed at, BTW. Miserably) of hurting someone else. That makes you the bully. Interestingly, you also whine quite a bit. Bullies often do that, lash out due to feelings of inadequacy.

Anyway in my opinion I always imagined the bully as very insecure

You're attempting to hurt other people on purpose while claiming to be the victim. You're displaying classic insecurity.

I believe he Has a longing to be acknowledged by his "followers "and so repeats the bullying on a daily basis....hence " Goodwins Law"

Once again you display a stunning lack of caring about knowing what you are talking about. You could have read all about Godwin's law in 2 minutes, yet choose to be ignorant of it yet think you can discuss it.

    Narcissism indee.
