Mackin-- is Jourles in your corner? He's in the fetal position from the good tunes too.

I guess I should slip a little 'Stones in for you guys. 19th Nervous Breakdown (Mick Jagger/Keith Richards)

You're the kind of person you meet at certain dismal, dull affairs
Center of a crowd, talking much too loud, running up and down the stairs
Well, it seems to me that you have seen too much in too few years
And though you've tried you just can't hide your eyes are edged with tears

    You better stop, look around
Here it comes, here it comes, here it comes, here it comes
Here comes your nineteenth nervous breakdown

When you were a child you were a treated kind
Byt you were never brought up right
You were always spoiled with a thousand toys but still you cried all night
Your mother who neglected you owes a million dollars tax
And your father's still perfecting ways of making ceiling wax

    You better stop, look around
Here it comes, here it comes, here it comes, here it comes
Here comes your nineteenth nervous breakdown
Oh, who's to blame, that girl's just insane
Well, nothing I do don't seem to work
It only seems to make the matters worse. Oh, please

You were still in school when you had that fool who really messed your mind
And after that you turned your back on treating people kind
On our first trip I tried so hard to rearrange your mind
But after awhile I realized you were disarranging mine

    You better stop, look around
Here it comes, here it comes, here it comes, here it comes
Here comes your nineteenth nervous breakdown
Oh, who's to blame, that girl's just insane
Well, nothing I do don't seem to work
It only seems to make the matters worse. Oh, please

When you were a child you were treated kind
But you were never brought up right
You were always spoiled with a thousand toys but still you cried all night
Your mother who neglected you owes a million dollars tax
And you father's still perfecting ways of making ceiling wax

    You better stop, look around
Here it comes, here comes your nineteenth nervous breakdown

THANK GOD AND GREYHOUND SHE'S GONE!
    Roy Clark

I've made a small fortune, and you've squandered it all.
You've shamed me till I feel about one inch tall.
But I thought I loved you, and I hoped you would change,
so I gritted my teeth and didn't complain.

Now you've come to me with a simple goodbye.
You tell me you're leaving, but you won't tell me why.
We're here at the station and you're getting on.
And all I can think of is.........

Thank God and Greyhound you're gone!

Thank God and Greyhound you're gone!
I didn't know how much longer I could go on,
watching you take the respect out of me,
watching you make a total wreck out of me.
That big diesel motor is a playing my song.

Thank God and Greyhound you're gone!

Thank God and Greyhound you're gone!
That load on my mind got lighter when you got on.
That shiney old bus is a beautiful sight,
with the black smoke rolling up around the tail lights.
It may sound kinda cruel, but I've been silent too long:

Thank God and Greyhound you're gone!

Thank God and Greyhound you're gone!

Loving Her Was Easier (Than anyting I'll ever do again) Kris Kristofferson

I have seen the mornin' burning golden on the mountains in the sky

Achin' with the feeling of the freedom of an eagle when she flies

Turnin' on the world the way she smiled on my soul as I lay dying

Healin' as the colors in the sunshine was the shadow of her eyes

Wakin' in the morning to the feeling of her feathers on my skin

Wipin' out the traces of the people and the places that I've been

Teaching me that yesterday was something that I never thought of trying

Talkin' of tomorrow and the money, love and time that we have spent

Lovin' her was easier than anything I'll ever do again

Coming close together with a feeling I've never known before in my time

She ain't afraid to be a woman or ashamed to be a friend

I don't know the answer to the easy way she opened every door in my mind

But dreamin' was as easy as believing it was never gonna end

And lovin' her was easier than anything I'll ever do again

oh heckfire iwooda been good at this one if ida done this in the 80's.

The 80's were my shitkicken years. LOL

I don't know who anyone is these days. Country or otherwise. I stopped listening to who was who after the mid 90's. oon all music.

I think music reached it's peak and now they just seem to coast. The first 30 years of rock (and then cntry-rock,cntry western, and everything else) were the best. sigh.

the future of modern music music:

Is rollin down hill like a snow ball headed for hell.

Did I hear someone say Hank Jr.?

Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound ~ Hank Williams,Jr.

I've got a good woman at home who thinks I do no wrong
but sometimes lord she just ain't always around
and You know thats when I fall, I can't help myself at all
and I get whiskey bent and hell bound.

Play me the songs about a "ramblin man", put a cold one in my hand,
'cause you know I love to hear those guitar sounds.
Don't you play "I'm so lonesome I could cry", 'cause I get all balled up inside
and I'll get whiskey bent and hell bound.

Sure enough about closing time, 'bout stoned out of my mind
and I end up with some Honky Tonk Special I found.
Just as sure as the morning sun comes, thinking of my sweet girl at home
and I need to get whiskey bent and hell bound.

Play me the songs about a "ramblin man", put ole Jim Beam in my hand,
'cause you know I still love to get drunk and hear country sounds.
But don't play "Your Cheatin' Heart", 'cause that'll tear me all apart
and I get whiskey bent and hell bound.

Yeah, ole Hank songs always make me feel low down.

Cowboy (of the Hankin' out class)
