IMO..I feel like any country can destroy any country!.All it takes is one idiot to lose his cool and push the button! And he probably has an idiot brown nose friend to push the other one to follow suit!.

Actually I think that Iraq could best the U.S. Of course, the only way they could do that would be through psychological warfare--terrorist attacks, biowarfare, etc. Anything that would bring high U.S. casualities would greatly demoralize Americans. (Not that I actually think this will happen--just that it is possible.)
They couldn't even beat Iran after 10 years of war .One of my concerns really is the axis of evil and the potential for other Arab nations to join in some kind of jihad it could be messy buisness but the US is loaded with high tech warfare equipment to handle just about any situation.
heathens concerns are well founded. It would be messy if all the arab countries sided in together. But U.S would still come out on top. Now if you would have said CHINA, now that would be different. I think they have more ground troops then the U.S does bullets.

I was thinking the other day (tough job for a donkey)...
How much is the life of an American soldier worth to the USA? Is the life of an American soldier worth 2 Iraqi lives? Is it worth 5 Iraqi lives? 10? How about if all the Iraqi's are civilian?
I know the answers to those questions will vary greatly. But I know that among American's if faced with the following question "Is one American soldier worth more than all the people in Iraq?" would say yes. That being the case then why not just kill all the Iraqi's by nuking them? The obvious answer is America fears the world chaos that would arise especially on the part of the Islamic countries and is willing to trade American lives to avoid such chaos.
However, if a "muslim alliance" were to declare war on the US then get ready for a fireworks show. I predict that heaven will not have enough virgins to offer all the new residents if that occurs.

I found an interesting site, where they claim that Iraq could indeed defeat the US. Tell me your comments after reading it.
Strictly speaking, they're not claiming that Iraq could defeat the US but that it will. And what are they basing this on? An informed assessment of the military capabilities of both countries? No, of course not. It's just another wacky interpretation of ancient myths. When it doesn't come true, the nutjobs who came up with it will disappear or revise their interpretation.
I don't even know about a Muslim alliance. I mean what was it, 5 or 6 muslim countries all at once tried to beat Isreal and got whacked?
