He commented that this rapist's mom is a JW so that is likely why he picked this religion. I corrected him (smirking)
He also commented that many people were in court today supporting the mother (and his JW mother as well -smirking yet again) who he presumed were from the Church. I referred him to Erica's case as well as the Berry case where the same thing happened.
Hopefully it may motivate him to look at the issue a little closer.

I agree he didn't sound all that remorseful. He shouldn't even be seeking release/parole. If he was truly a humble servant, he would want to (a) stay locked up where he could not hurt anyone again and realize that's what he NEEDS to do; (b) stay locked up because he should feel he DESERVES it for what he has ALREADY done.
Baloney excuses that he put a knife to the female taxi driver and raped her because he "was mad." Gimme a break. And kidnapping the little girl? What hogwash.

Does CALIF have a sex offender website with this guy's photo and rapsheet (like the State of Fla. has for sex offenders)? If so, we could post the link to his photo/rap sheet all over the place. We could add the link as a signature to our emails, and spread it around the world, etc.
To answer my own question, NO, California does not have a centralized sex offender website for the entire state. Even what they DO have is pretty lousy (compared to the FDLE site), in that Calif merely seems to offer MAPS showing where the pervs live, but does not provide names or photos! Geez, California, get on the ball! I want to have a pic of the pervs to spread around (like the FDLE site has). The below from the Megan's Law website for California.
