I've given to charities for the last 8 - 10 years.......I remember one elder trying to say something to me about my giving to the Humane Society and I absolutely FREAKED on him (I have a very soft spot for animals, especially kitty-cats)........I don't remember what words I used but I basically told him he was a lousy Christian if he thought there was something wrong with helping poor helpless animals. He was so shocked that I freaked on him (he probably thought it was PMS) that he never brooched the subject again. Idiot.
Oh, but the BEST example of being a shit-assed "Christian" came about 6 years ago at the District Assembly. The District Overseer, Brother Asshole Supreme, was talking about giving money to the Society before anything else and gave an example of a brother who had died, and who made the horrible, horrible decision to leave $100,000 to his local Humane Society. He said "I guess you could say his money literally went to the dogs." What a F#cking Asshole..........there were shocked looks all around and I could kick myself that I didn't go and blast his face off afterwards.........jerkoff.

Mary, I can't help but wonder if that person who left their money to the dogs did it to burn the JWs.
LOL!! Imagine, what if they thought they were going to get a whole boatload of money and instead, it went to a charity that they have called a waste of time. LOL!!!
