are the 1st to not be loved BOMBED!! My childrens father had to RUN RUN RUN out of KH this morning as the LOVE BOMBING began!! hehehehehehe I realy think he diserves all the POSITIVE attention as he is a negative person
But in all honesty at another hall we were attending when he and I were married he himself was considered Demonic by one of the brothers studying with him as he told the brother he felt christians had to be kind and loving to homosexual people!! He made it clear he did not suport homosexual activity...hehe.......but that he felt no matter what a person was doing all christians were to be loving and good neighbors to them. This came out years later in the liturature but at this time it caused this brother to start yelling in our house about **FOTS** and how we're to hate them. Funny thing...don't remember Jesus teaching To "Hate Thy Neighbor" but, I always had thought it was this bros and a few other's personal view.
Also, everyone stated and as QUOTES has a new thread at his site......music as a JW is limited even in style. To be JW it is not enough to just make sure the Lyrics are clean for a christian but music style and prefrence is dictated. I went about maybe 8 or 9 years of my time as a JW listening to nothing but,Clasical,Oldies,KS,and of course...**Barny Is A Dinosour...From Our Imagination**...never ending Kids Music. I have been so happy for my new found freedom in music enjoyment....which I claimed for myself long before I was dissed.
The other thing that got me was the constent ridicule of my daughter's art work.....openly Bro's and Sister's would call her work DEMONIC and it realy hindered for sometime. Fourtunatly for her...I kept encouraging her to continue with her work no matter what anyone had said. But,still she almost stopped drawing compleatly when a Kitty Cat she drew for a young girl at KH was very loudly for all to here and passed around and viewed by all...as you guessed it...DEMONIC....a Kitty Cat!!!
She does ANIME style art as well as others and it was realy because she draws and paints in a few different Japanese style art forms.
We were told not to buyor recieve any dolls second hand as you never know what they were used for and jewlery with crystals or stones....semi-understandable but,still paranioa.
I realy don't think the Bros' and Sister's mean to hurt and hinder others in this way...but, it can be almost a Witch Hunt in Old Salem fashion.
I think what it is...is that even though JW's are not isolated in that they do socialize as a group.....they are an ISOLATED community.This means they become supersticious and fearful of "The World" outside thier imaginary boarders and any influance it may rub off in thier mists.
