Does anybody have any WBTS literature references where it is stated that the "Ketchup Song" contains "demonic influences".

An Ex-JW friend of mine has heard that the WBTS has stated this, and it would be very useful it have it confirmed.

    Thanks.

I&P quoted this from a Jehovah's Witness Discussion board:

Yesterday we had a visit from a brother and sister from brussels and the brother answered up saying that the ketchup song is pure satan worship. My mum and I were shocked, we decided to ask the brother further and he said that when translated it had things such as mentioning royal blue and that they had been warned that it was a satanistic colour and that there was other things in it that was pure satan worship. It showed me that what seemed to be a perfectly inosent song was certainly not. i havent been on the site for a while so this may have been mentioned sorry if it had! i was quite shocked by it all.

take care because satan is using every means to leave jehovahs organisation!

Be very glad you don't know, believe me, you wouldnt want to hear it. Once heard it will never leave your head.

BTW Im not condemning it because its Satanic, Im condemning it because its CRAP! Sure it's catchy, but so is herpes.

Oh heck, this is one of those songs that a lot of religious groups are accusing of being Satanic. It isn't just the WTBS. People are prone to seeing evil in everything, music being a prime place. Can't find evil in a song? Play it backwards. Still can't find it? Then just declare it to be so seductive that Satan will get you if you listen to it.

It gets ridiculous. I can't imagine this is any worse than kids playing some rap song with the F word blaring out their car window, as though they are cool. :lol

this diva loves the ketchup song!!

see the hot sexy latin divas in the video-

    the lyrics

    friday night it's party time
    feeling ready looking fine,
    viene diego rumbeando,
with the magic in his eyes
    checking every girl in sight,
grooving like he does the mambo
he's the man alli en la disco,
    playing sexy felling hotter,
he's the king bailando et ritmo ragatanga,
and the dj that he knows well,
on the spot always around twelve,
plays the mix that diego mezcla con la salsa,
y la baila and he dances y la canta

    Chorus:
Aserej, ja deje tejebe tude jebere
sebiunouba majabi an de bugui an de buididip (x3)

many think its brujeria, <---------(withcraft reference)
    how he comes and disappears,
    every move will hypnotize you,
    some will call it chuleria,
others say that its the real,
    rastafari afrogitano

he's the man alli en la disco,
    playing sexy felling hotter,
he's the king bailando ritmo ragatanga,
and the dj that he knows well,
on the spot always around twelve,
plays the mix that diego mezcla con la salsa,
y la baila and he dances y la canta

    Repeat Chorus

fyi: this song is so yesterday

I loved the video, played it many times, my wife says I just like the pretty sisters singing, but I think the song is good also, but I probably wouldn't have listened without the sexy chicks dancing. My wife knows me too well!
