  .... quite frankly ... you or anyone else are more than free to do it differently than Bill - you don't need the Silentlamb's name to do it .... you can work alone or with Bill .... and I was responding to Kelsey ... and I recognize I am in the minority on this.

  Anyway, thank you for doing exactly what you promised regarding the FTP stuff in a timely manner. Also I believe there are a number of outstanding issue that I assume you will be doing too. I can't thank you enough for doing all this in a timely manner - like you said - for Victims.

  I know at least one email was sent to you regarding this problem and if necessary more should follow. People would also like to call but the answering maching keeps coming on ... is there any way we can tie you down to a time when you will be at the phone?

  You've got to be kidding me here. Bill will not provide me with the needed information until I fulfill his little list, namely releasing copyright to that design to him. I am nice enough not to make him sign a document, now he wants me to? Tell him to stop and send me the FTP information.

  As for my answering machine, no-one can leave a message? My fax line is being used, and I'm on this line. I just need the FTP info, either they give it to me or they don't. I'm not going to play games all day, do they want this site up or no? This will take the better part of this day, so if they don't have it to me by 1PM, that's it, because my son will be home at 3, and we've got plans. So this is their last chance.

  Yes, it's 1PM NY time.

  You know, this is really testing my patience here. I'm being refused access to accomplish volunteer work, and to do Bill a favor. Is that for the victims? No, because this is to give his new webmaster less work. either I do it or he does it, it gets done, so this particular issue really has nothing to do with the victims at all.

  I've just written up a deal about the copyright and sent it along to Bill, so we'll see what happens.

  Do you see what I mean though? Absolutely everything has to be a hassle, and it doesn't need to be, it really doesn't.

  Here it is 1:30, I've been waiting since 5:30AM, and now we'll have the run around. How much can I give here?

  Actually .. I see two people who were in a partnership. Sadly things happened. I'm sorry you feel the way you do and I am so sorry you are in a financial crisis.

  I hope you can accomplish the work as you said you would and I am just going to fade back. But remember - family first eh!!!! - do that kid thing at 3!!!!

  Ok, it's 2:39, I'm still waiting for word from Bill, nothing.

  The site doesn't go to my server anymore, and some files are missing, so maybe they're taking care of it themselves? That's what it seems like, so they didn't need me after all. I wish someone had told me this, I wouldn't have sat here all day waiting. All's well that ends well I guess.

  Hawk you are a riot... Bill can bash and slam anyone that dont agree with him- and do so publicly. Then after acting a total fool diminishing the credibilty of the silent lambs- then and only then does it come down to "it's about the victims". No hawk you are too up close and personal with this thing to recognize what the world is seeing in Bill and silent lambs. BTW I do not remember bringing Barb Anderson or the other person into this issue- I never new that Barb Anderson was a silent lamb victim-

  Bill Bowen is silent lambs and he has an attitude that has cost him a lot of supporters- it is a shame that he says he wants to reach out and help others but in the process he bashes many- It is about the victims- from what I have seen it is all about bill and what he wants- But lke you said- it is his show- no problem there. But he does bring all this to the public- he promotes himself and makes very ugly statements and when you put yourself on front street as they say you can expect some criticism- Though I know that JW elders hate criticism...

  I really don't want to keep beating a dead horse here, I'm only posting this as I go along to form a public record, because I have seen how this comes back on me. Bill and I agreed the other night that I would not require a copyright notice on silentlambs, but that a mention giving me credit would be fine, no problem. So now today he wants a release for the design. I sent him one, a lifetime license agreement, and in that agreement is provisions for this little tiny code:

  After communicating <REV> and I have agreed to work together on saving what has been done to date on the website and transferring it to an outside party to finish the site. Matt agrees that a non jw background individual would be better in the long run for silentlambs development. We have also agreed to not worry about copyrights on the website other than what might give Matt credit for working with a nonprofit organization.

  So, he's throwing a fit, and won't let me upload the site to his new server. So, this is how it is. If he puts in the code fine, thanks, if he doesn't, whatever, I'm not going to sue him, it'd hardly be worth it nor beneficial to anyone. He has all the passwords and everything to get the site and upload it to his new server, so they can go ahead and do that. I'm going to go have some fun with my son, and call it a day. It's all in their ballpark now. They can do as they wish, 9 and a half hours I have been sitting here ready to go to work.

  Today is my last day with silentlambs. It's been fun, I was glad to help out, and sometime in the future after I take a break, if Bill needs more help he's free to contact me. His new Webmaster is more than qualified to upload the site for him. I just can't spend anymore time on this, it's been months of this going back and forth and today is just it, over, I'm tired for now. I thank Bill for the opportunity to help out, I wish him the best, and silentlambs of course. And like I said, I will continue to support the cause, and much of the work Bill is doing.

  Hit my posting limit, so I had to add here:

  After months of hard work, not only by myself, but a few others. Around 600-1000 pages, hours and days of graphic arts work. Research beyond your imagination. Many sleepless nights, by quite a few people, I regret to make this announcement: Bill Bowen has asked me to delete the entire site. Every bit of coding. Ever line of text. All the research gone into it by many. All gone. Lest anyone blame me, due to the copyright notices, I have made it clear that those are not required. I have done everything in my power to satisfy Mr. Bowen, but to no avail. I'm sorry for all the hard work gone into that site by many, just to have it lost. I hope you know what you're doing Bill, I for one think you're making a sad mistake, and you're being VERY Cruel to those who have worked so hard. Shame on YOU!
