What Do You Want To Be Remembered For?

During your lifetime or after you pass away, what do you want your legacy to be? What do you want people to remember about you?

That I cared....that I tried in every way to be a good person, and that I was a good mother to my children, and hopefully some day my grandchildren. And that I knew real love, both giving and taking.

I want my sons to remember me like I remember my dad. As a man, he was strong and honest, as a father, he was tough on me (which, needless to say I needed) but gentle and kind when I needed him to be. He made me laugh even though I made him cry. He left me in death way too early but the lessons he taught me, made me a survivor. Yeah, I want to be remembered by my children like that...
