So now the WT is selling cars?

Not only that, but you buy these cars for the CO's? Let me get this straight, I buy a car but it's not for ME? I'm suppose to GIVE it to the visiting CO? I read the letter and that's the message I got.

I open the envelope and out pops a "No Blood" keychain. Hey, it's free. But still...

I wanted off the mailing list. But now they sent me an address book and a letter encouraging me to support the visiting CO's by buying a CAR. A nice shiny Buick with a CD player and leather interior.

    That's very funny

Still it always sort of bothered me when we'd take votes to pay for CO's insurance or new cars.

Apostle Paul was like a CO and he made tents! He payed for his OWN living!

Plus, I wondered why The WTBS wasn't paying for it. I knew of people who donated alot of money to them in different catagorys.....Relief Work....World Wide Work....Building Projects....etc.

I thought ,"Why ask for even MORE money??"

Then I found out they had investments too!! So I knew they even made money on the money...etc.

    I don't recall Jesus having a portfolio!

    Well...my 2 cents.....

Lets do some simple math. Use 100 circuits just for simplification. The mindless drone publishers in each circuit fork over 25,000 for the new Buicks, and there is no local ownership. Every three years they sell the cars, at say 20,000 bucks each, through that circuit leasing company. Thats a cool tax free profit going to the crotchtower of 2,000,000 . And thats only for 100 circuits. This rancid publishing company known as the watchtower is nothing more than a greedy , slimy corporation run by people no more ethical than the suits that ran ENRON, all under the guise of a religion.

Hey Geddy....Watching you do math gave me a real "RUSH"

Don't The GB remind you of The Priests Of The Temple Of Syrinx in 2112??

How could I have been so blind...when Geddy Lee had warned me all along!!!

Sorry to sound really dumb - but does this web site belong to the society? I don't get it. Are they buying/leasing this type of car for COs or are they selling them? What is going on? How many JWs don't know about this (me included)?

Rebel, Circuit leasing is a retail outlet run by the watchtower to sell cars that were bought for the circuit overseers by the brothers in each circuit. Its money laundering at its cultish best.

I talked to someone there at circuit leasing, and asked him some questions. One of the first was how they get the cars, and do they have anything to do with Jehovahs Witnesses. He asked why?

The whole time, he was a complete asshole. He gave a terrible example of brotherly love. If I were studying, and got treated the way I did on the phone, I would have quit immediately.

The guy was a complete jerk.

Thanks for clearing that up Geddy. It was confusing me. Selling cars that were bought for the CO's. But they want you to buy them again for them? Oh I don't know. Either way, it didn't sound right to me. And the keychain was a further insult. That was mixing religion with business to me.
